How do I enter a "found" date?

From: Mama Bear (themama_bear@yahoo.com) | Date: 2005-04-05 13:30:06 UTC-07:00
"The status date doesn't seem to be valid."

I am getting this message every time I try to enter a found date on my boxes on the updated site. I've tried every variation I can think of for typing in the date, with no luck. Any suggestions?

Mama Bear,

You should be able to enter something similar to
mm/dd/yyyy, including 3/4/05 or 04/05/2005.

Yup,
I was having trouble also and using the backslash to separate the
day/month/year worked. Good luck.
